About the play:
THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story where every father's nightmare comes true — his little girl has fallen in love with a sweet boy (well, that's considered scary by creepy dad Gomez).
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and is dating sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother that she want to get married.
Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before -- keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents.
By the end of the show, you'll be happy to know, it's OK if your family is not normal either.
Pal-Mac high school English teacher Kimberly Day is the director of the production, staging her 10th musical for Pal-Mac.
